Good location as able to walk in to the centre, Bed was very comfortable, slept well. We enjoyed the continental breakfast delivered to the room. Host was friendly and helpful. Lots of car parking.

Lovely guest house in Kilkenny! Breakfast was brought to our room in a cute basket, perfect! Liam the owner is very friendly. We will come back.

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
Castle Lodge suited my needs exactly. It was close enough to downtown Kilkenny to be a pleasant but not overwhelming walk, and I loved roaming around Castle Park across the road. The room was sparkling clean with a very comfortable bed, the shower was excellent, and the breakfast was delightful. I would absolutely stay there again, and would recommend it. My thanks to the hosts for a pleasant stay!
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
It was a long hike from the Ormonde Road bus stop, but that was an issue of my own logistics and nothing to do with the Lodge itself.

Die Gastgeber sind äußerst nett, die Zimmer geräumig und modern, eine Nespressomaschine mit Kapseln gehört zur Ausstattung. Die Lage ist top, zu Fuß max. 10 Minuten ins Zentrum. Besonders schön fanden wir die Idee, das Frühstück in einem Picknickkorb aufs Zimmer serviert zu bekommen. Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Good location within 1km of Kilkenny castle. Large room and comfortable bed. Lovely continental breakfast delivered to your door.

Would have been nice to have some written information/recommendations for local take away, pubs, restaurants, attractions and activities

Walkable to castle and town, spacious room with comfortable beds and a nice continental breakfast in the morning. Gracious and friendly hosts too.

Very nice host, very comfortable Queen size bed. Quiet night. Cute breakfast basket with lot of food. Even gluten free when we asked for it.

Our room at Castle Lodge was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bed was particularly comfortable and as I almost always have a problem with pillows I was delighted to find them perfect, for me. Good coffee machine in the room and the breakfast basket was a real treat. Fresh fruit, gorgeous croissants and lots of other goodies. The location was just on the outskirts of Kilkenny city which we very much enjoyed visiting. Our host was really friendly and helpful with advice. We would have no hesitation about staying there again.

the host is super friendly and helpful; the room is spacious, very nicely decorated and definitely super clean; the bed is absolutely comfy -- even my husband, who normally wakes up early in the morning, slept like a baby; the shower is hot and powerful, bathroom in general is great; the breakfast basket is make with love and really delicious; free parking is available on site and we could leave our car even for a couple of hours after check-out to stroll through the castle park -- overall we loved our stay! thank you :)

Exact same breakfast three days in a row. Room was a wee bit cold, more heat in the morning would have been nice.
